Custom Braking Technologies (CBT) was founded in 2017 by Adam Kohler and Jamie Franks.

Adam Kohler has been working in the hydraulic brake industry for over 25 years. As CEO of CBT Adam oversees the company’s overall direction, component design and manufacturing, and R&D. Adam specializes in bogie brake design specifically caliper/disc design, FEA, and equipment implementation.
Jamie Franks has been working in the hydraulic brake industry for over 10 years. As Senior Brake Consultant Jamie supports customer sales and support, project management, and system engineering. Jamie specializes in car-body equipment design specifically HPU, EBCU, and overall system integration.
